Graduated in 1988 from Durham College. Debbie loves the relationships with her clients, and co-workers and enjoys the satisfaction at the end of the day of a job well done. Besides oral health, Debbie also loves to share all things health related with clients and colleagues. Outside of hygiene, there are many hobbies that keep her busy. Henna, yoga, crafts and outdoor activities to name a few. Of course, there’s the tug boat that took months to rebuild and serves as a summer cottage.

Graduated from Erie Community College, Williamsville, New York, USA with an associate degree in dental hygiene in 1989. As a young, single person, it was the most important thing in my life. Among other awards, the ones that I am most proud of are receiving a scholarship from the American Dental Hygiene Association as well as being elected to Sigma Phi Alpha. What is most important to me as a hygienist is not just tending to teeth and gums, but rather tending to the entire person. Dental, whole body and emotional well-being. It is important to educate clients, do clinical therapy as well as exhibit simple kindness or pleasantry. Our son will be graduating from the University of Toronto in a few weeks with a double degree in computer science and philosophy. My husband and I take solace in feeling he will be able to support himself and be a productive member of society. Now I am able to refocus. I plan to do volunteer work with our local new Canadian center.

Born and raised in Brampton Ontario and graduated in 2011 from Medix College. What I most enjoy about being a hygienist is helping people out with their dental needs. Moved to Peterborough because of how much my husband and I enjoyed the area when he played for Peterborough Petes. Together, we have three beautiful children aged, 11, 13 and 15. And yes they play hockey!
